MISSION
Since the mid-1990s there have been many initiatives and exhibitions conceived and organized by the museum with the aim not only of telling the story of a man, but also of expressing the openness and interest of the company towards the most significant aspects of the contemporary world.
Museo Salvatore Ferragamo was inaugurated in May 1995 thanks to the desire of the Ferragamo family not only to celebrate and to pay tribute to the creativity of the company's founder, Salvatore Ferragamo, but also to make known to the public, in particular that of the youngest, the artistic qualities of Ferragamo, the limitless imagination and inventions, which changed the role of footwear in International Fashion and elected Salvatore Ferragamo one of the great protagonists of 20th century design and fashion.
