“I shall go on for ever. I have only just begun to work. I am still perfecting myself for the work I have to do in the future. I have plenty of time. I know I am going to do it. If it is not done with this body it will be done with another. We are all flowing with the eternal tide, and of the eternal tide only is there no end."
Museo Salvatore Ferragamo was inaugurated in May 1995 thanks to the desire of the Ferragamo family not only to celebrate and to pay tribute to the creativity of the company's founder, Salvatore Ferragamo, but also to make known to the public, in particular that of the youngest, the artistic qualities of Ferragamo, the limitless imagination and inventions, which changed the role of footwear in International Fashion and elected Salvatore Ferragamo one of the great protagonists of 20th century design and fashion.
